CHOCOLATES FOR VALENTINE'S DAY? WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?

70% OF THE WORLD'S CHOCOLATE IS PRODUCED IN WEST AFRICA, WHERE MANY FARMS EMPLOY CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN TRAFFICKED AND FORCED TO WORK IN CONDITIONS AKIN TO SLAVERY.

Ten years ago the biggest chocolate companies promised to get rid of child trafficking in the cocoa industry in West Africa.

Ten years on, despite their promises, we only have a tiny amount of Traffik Free chocolate.

Only 0.0075% of the £600 billion the cocoa industry has earned in this time has been invested into improving working conditions in West Africa.

This year, Special Someone is joining the 10 Campaign to make sure our Valentines aren't getting their chocolatey treats at the expense of someone else.
